The Orenda Tribe empowers youth to effect positive change in their communities through art and storytelling. We implement workshops that address vital social topics like mental wellness, climate change, and gender equality, encouraging youth to express themselves creatively.

Job Description

The Orenda Tribe is seeking a full-time Workshop Facilitator & Artist to lead art workshops, manage daily tasks, and represent our mission in various settings, including schools, events, and our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workshop Design: Collaborate in creating art workshops focused on various important topics.
  • Facilitation: Conduct engaging art workshops and classes in diverse locations.
  • Representation: Act as a representative of The Orenda Tribe in our store, schools, and events.
  • Customer Engagement: Assist walk-in customers with art activities across all ages.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete daily store-related tasks as assigned by your direct manager.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in art or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience teaching arts and crafts or design to youth in schools. 
  • Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; fluent in English; experience working with children.

Working Hours and Location

  • Hours: As per Jordanian Labor Law.
  • Schedule: Days and times will be assigned by your direct manager, including potential shifts on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Location: Primarily at The Orenda Tribe in Weibdeh, with occasional travel to other venues for projects.
